In East Windsor, Connecticut, this World War I memorial honors the town's men who, in their country's time of need, willingly laid aside their duties to enter the war, offering their lives and sacred honor for their country. It was erected through the efforts of the John W. Ryan Post No. 2774, Veterans of Foreign Wars of U.S.A., and bears the names of those from East Windsor who served, including several marked as having died.
