The community of Fountain Run, sponsored by the Womans Club, honored all who served and dedicated special remembrance to those who made the supreme sacrifice in World War I and World War II. Those remembered by name are John T. Bertram for World War I, and Charles H. Farley, Ray W. Hagan, Jessie M. Isenberg, Reuben Jones, Elmer Jordon, Cantrill B. Meador, Cleadeth Wheet, and Joe H. Wheet for World War II.
