The Van Dyne Civic Building was presented to the Troy Borough School District on December 7, 1916 by E. Everitt Van Dyne, and the town clock was presented to Troy Borough on November 25, 1914 by Stephen H. Heywood. The property has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior.
