Warrior Mountain is a ridge in western Maryland’s Allegany County. It begins northwest of Oldtown and extends northeast to a water gap cut by the Murley Branch of Town Creek south of Flintstone. Beyond that break, the same landform continues as Warrior Ridge, running north into Pennsylvania. There it parallels and lies east of Tussey Mountain, passes north of Everett, and eventually merges with the Tussey Mountain ridge line at the boundary between Blair and Bedford counties. The ridge is significant as a continuous Appalachian landform linking western Maryland with south-central Pennsylvania.
