The West Falls North Disaster Urban Renewal Area was created to aid the citizens of Exeter Township in their recovery from the June 1972 Agnes Flood Disaster. It was executed by the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Wyoming in cooperation with the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors and was funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Community Affairs.
