New Germantown Covered Bridge is a historic wooden bridge near New Germantown in Jackson Township, Pennsylvania. Built in 1891, it carries a road across Shermans Creek on a 74-foot King post span. Its traditional covered design helped shield the timber structure from weather, reflecting the practical character of the region’s late nineteenth-century rural infrastructure. The bridge gained formal historic recognition in 1980 when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
