Easley Peak is an 11,108-foot mountain in central Idaho on the Blaine-Custer county line, along the crest of the Boulder Mountains in the Rockies. In the Hemingway-Boulders Wilderness of Sawtooth National Forest, it is visible from Highway 75 and Galena Summit and ranks as Idaho’s 100th-highest peak. Its steep rise, about 4,100 feet above the Big Wood River in three miles, gives it a striking profile. Water drains south to the Big Wood River and north to the headwaters of the South Fork of the East Fork Salmon River. The mountain was named for pioneer John V. Easley, who came to the area around 1880 and opened a stage station at nearby Easley Hot Springs.
