Cape Lookout State Park is an Oregon state park on Cape Lookout, south of Tillamook, occupying a sand spit between Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Its importance lies in this distinctive setting on a narrow strip of land between protected bay waters and the open coast, at the foot of one of the Oregon shoreline’s prominent capes. It continues to serve the public as a recreation area within the state park system.
