Clay Myers State Natural Area at Whalen Island is an Oregon state park administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. Created in 2000 and named for former Oregon secretary of state Clay Myers, it occupies Whalen Island, which despite its name is not a true island. The area is enclosed by the Sand Lake Estuary and surrounding wetlands, and visitors primarily experience it by way of a 1.5-mile loop trail that follows the perimeter.
