This cast steel bell was made in Sheffield, England, in 1860 by the Naylor Vickers & Co. foundry using E. Riepe’s patent. It hung in the steeple of the Methodist Church on Main Street in Sheffield, Massachusetts, now a private home. Tom and Cynthia Dixon donated it to the Town of Sheffield.
