Men and women of Nolensville, Tennessee, who served the country in war and peace were honored in a Roll of Honor that named local service members from World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War, including Ed M. Byrd, Richard Fly, Jimmie King, Owen B. Layne, Tom W. Maddox, Bennie R. Bradley, Vance Burke, Robert S. Burke Jr., James R. Cothran, Carl R. Mayfield, Elmer F. Poteete, Shady Ed. Pulley, Marvin L. Stephens, Dorris A. Ivey, and the Unknown Soldier, with a homecoming held on July 26, 1986.
