Micajah Frasher/Frazier (1753-1843) and his wife Susan Hamilton are buried nearby. He enlisted in 1780 and served 18 months in the Virginia Line under Pope. He was at Hood's Fort and Williamsburg and served under Washington against Cornwallis at Yorktown. He was the progenitor of the area's Frasher/Frazier/Frazer/Frasure family.
