The 94th Infantry Division became the first U.S. Army division to achieve "Expert Infantry" recognition while training at Camp McCain from November 1943 to July 1944. In World War II, it later rendered distinguished service in the European Theater campaigns of Northern France, Ardennes-Alsace, Rhineland, and Central Europe.
