Laurel Falls Trail ascends gradually for 1⅓ miles to Laurel Falls. It is an easy and delightful walk through a forest that was logged and ravaged by wildfire long before the park was established in 1934. For these reasons, big trees are scarce, but with natural reforestation and protection many of the scars are healing rapidly.
