Worrall Covered Bridge in Rockingham, Vermont, carries Williams Road over the Williams River and is the town’s last surviving original covered bridge from the 19th century. Built in 1870 by local master builder Sanford Granger, it uses a Town lattice truss and remains a narrow one-lane crossing on stone abutments later reinforced with concrete. Its traditional form includes a gabled metal roof, vertical board siding, and visibility openings on the south side, while a wooden ramp at the northwest entrance is an unusual surviving feature. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, it was damaged by flooding in 2023 and later chosen for repair with FEMA funds.
