Santa Rosa Mountain is the northernmost summit of the Santa Rosa Mountains in Riverside County, California, within the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. At its northwestern base lies Palm Canyon, the landform that separates the Santa Rosa Mountains from the San Jacinto Mountains. The summit is recognized in the U.S. Geological Survey’s Geographic Names Information System as a mountain peak within this protected desert and mountain landscape.
