Rocky Mountain is a 1,056-foot summit in Bergen County, New Jersey, within the Ramapo Mountains and inside Ringwood State Park. Overlooking Bear Swamp Lake to the northwest, it forms part of the rugged upland landscape that characterizes the Ramapo range in northern New Jersey. Though not especially high, it contributes to the region’s distinctive scenery, and its location within a state park gives it a protected place in the area’s natural and outdoor landscape.
