William B. Baugh of the U.S.M.C. was born on July 7, 1930, and died on Nov. 29, 1950. He was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for action at Koto-Ri, Korea, where he sacrificed his life by smothering an enemy hand grenade with his body, thereby saving the lives of his comrades.
