The Deer Park Hotel was built by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, opened July 4, 1873, and operated until 1829 before being dismantled in 1942. President Grover Cleveland and Mrs. Grover Cleveland spent their honeymoon at Cleveland Cottage in June, 1886.
