J. P. Coleman State Park is a Mississippi park on the Tennessee River and Pickwick Lake, north of Iuka, named for former governor James P. Coleman. The park is oriented around the water, offering boating, waterskiing, and fishing on forty-seven thousand five hundred-acre Pickwick Lake, a spot especially known for smallmouth bass. Its accommodations range from primitive and developed campsites to cabins, cottages, and a motel, and its other amenities include a swimming pool, visitors center, picnic area, and miniature golf course.
