Mount Cruiser is a 6,104-foot summit in Washington's Olympic Mountains, the highest point on Sawtooth Ridge in the Mount Skokomish Wilderness. Its slopes drain to the Hamma Hamma River, and two subsidiary summits, Alpha and Beta, rise nearby, with Beta on the boundary of Olympic National Park. Paul Crews and Ray Layton first climbed the peak in 1937 and named it for their club, the Bremerton Ski Cruisers; the name was officially adopted in 1961. Known as a technical climbing objective, it has established routes on several faces. Its rugged form reflects marine climate, heavy snowfall, and the Olympic Mountains' distinctive geology shaped by Pleistocene glaciation and erosion.
