The Brodbeck and Zundel General Merchandise Store was approved as a Historic Site in Baldwin County, Alabama, by the Baldwin County Historic Development Commission after a petition for Historic Site Designation was submitted on October 15, 2012, pursuant to authority conveyed by Act No. 80-497, as amended by Act No. 89-960, and the commission approved the designation during its October 21, 2012 meeting.
