Clinch County erected this memorial in grateful appreciation of the heroic service and sacrifice of its sons and daughters in World War II, honoring those who served in the Army, Women's Auxiliary, Aviation, Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard, and recognizing that all gave much and some gave all.
