Bell Building
History
1
In 1915, Samuel Oliver Wylie Bell, who had at one time served as Village Trustee, bought out his partner George Daines in their combined furniture store and undertaking establishment and built a two story brick structure. In 1929, the store was remodeled and S.S. Kresge moved in, occupying the space until 1953. Although the building has been considerably altered, it still retains its two bay configuration.
