Ard Eevin was the manor home of Daniel and Margaret McPeak Campbell on an early citrus ranch of 25 to 50 acres. Daniel Campbell was a pioneer city banker, a developer of the area in the 1920s and 1930s, and a community philanthropist. Their children were Daniel Jr., Arthur, and Kathleen. The house was designed by Nathaniel Dryden in 1902 and completed on February 4, 1903. Restoration began in 2001, and the property was listed in the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior on December 1, 2006.
