The Rev. Edward Dingle of England settled at Dagsboro, Del. Nov. 11, 1753, built St. Martin's Church in Worcester Co., MD, beginning in 1756 and completing it in 1759, and died in 1763; he was buried with his wife under St. Martin's pulpit, according to English custom.
