Little Dry Run Wilderness Addition is a protected wildland in western Virginia’s George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, adjoining the Little Dry Run Wilderness within the Mount Rogers high country. Its largely roadless landscape, later reinforced by federal roadless protections, retains traces of early twentieth-century logging while remaining notably undeveloped. Rising from Jones Creek to high points including Buzzard Rock, Panther Knob, and nearby Comers Rock, it contains high-gradient streams, broadleaf forests, rare table mountain pine stands, and possible old-growth forest. Wildlife includes golden-crowned kinglets and turkeys, while Kinser and Jones creeks support wild trout. Prehistoric camps and historic cabin remains also show long, small-scale human use of the area.
