Rich Mountain is a long sandstone ridge in the Ouachita Mountains near Mena, Arkansas, with the Arkansas–Oklahoma border crossing its crest. It is the second highest point in the Ouachitas, the U.S. Interior Highlands, and Arkansas, and it is home to Queen Wilhelmina State Park. Running generally east to west, the mountain is known for broad views from its high spine across surrounding ranges. Arkansas State Highway 88 and Oklahoma State Highway 1 follow the ridge as the Talimena Scenic Drive, a well-known route for mountain vistas. Its summit also features the Rich Mountain Lookout Tower, and the mountain remains a major natural landmark and scenic destination.
