Lake Wenatchee State Park occupies 492 acres at the eastern end of Lake Wenatchee on the eastern slopes of Washington’s Cascade Range, within the Wenatchee National Forest. Fed by glaciers and snowmelt, the lake shapes a park divided into north and south shore sections by the Wenatchee River. With 12,623 feet of waterfront, the park serves as a year-round center for outdoor recreation. Summer activities include fishing, swimming, water skiing, windsurfing, white-water kayaking, boating, camping, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and rock climbing. In winter, it supports cross-country skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and ice climbing under the management of the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission.
