Dighton Rock State Park is a 98-acre public recreation area and historic preserve on the eastern shore of the Taunton River in Berkley, Massachusetts. Its centerpiece is a small museum housing Dighton Rock, an 11-foot glacial erratic carved with petroglyphs that once stood on the riverbank, giving the site archaeological importance as well as a museum function. The Old Colony Historical Society owned and managed the property from 1889 to 1955, when the state acquired it. Now managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the park also provides trails and opportunities for picnicking, fishing, and non-motorized boating.
