The Beer Can Museum in East Taunton, Massachusetts, is a private collection of more than 5,000 different beer cans and a wide range of breweriana and related objects. Begun in 1978 by director and curator Kevin Logan, it traces beer packaging history from the early years of canned beer, with examples dating to the mid-1930s, including a Krueger Ale can like the first beer can produced in 1935. Its holdings include early cone-top and flat-top cans, test cans, props, and changing packaging styles, along with coasters, glasses, folk art, clothing, and other collectibles. In 2013, it was recognized by Travel & Leisure as one of America’s strangest museums.
