Sharon Audubon Center in Sharon, Connecticut, is a National Audubon Society wildlife sanctuary that protects 1,147 acres of mostly forested land with ponds and visitor trails while supporting nature study and public education. Formerly Bog Meadow Farm, the estate was donated by Clement and Keyo Ford in 1961 to create an educational nature center. The site includes gardens, a raptor aviary, a small museum and store, and the Hal Borland Room preserving materials related to the nature writer. Associated with it is the Emily Winthrop Miles Wildlife Sanctuary, land donated in 1962 that now forms part of a larger protected landscape with Carse Brook Wetlands and endangered species habitat.
