The Western Union Junction Railroad Museum in Sturtevant, Wisconsin stands across the street from the original site of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad depot, near active Canadian Pacific Railway trackage. Its collection preserves Sturtevant’s long connection to rail traffic through several pieces of Milwaukee Road equipment, including three boxcars and a caboose, as well as an MT14 Fairmont Speeder work train and a group of older railroad signals. Together, its location and artifacts connect the community to a historic railroad setting and especially to the legacy of the Milwaukee Road.
