Henry W. Williams, a native of Georgia who died in 1925, founded the H.W. Williams Wholesale Drug Company and became a prominent Fort Worth banker. This Colonial Revival residence was built for him between 1907 and 1909. Its notable features include an elaborate portico with Corinthian columns and a wide veranda. Since 1925 it has been home to several prominent area families whose lifestyles reflected the community’s cultural and social values.
