Proposal Rocks is a 29.9-acre nature preserve in Storrs, Connecticut, owned by Joshua’s Trust and centered on a group of granite boulders that give the site its name and distinctive character. Donated to Joshua’s Trust in 2003, it was later expanded in 2009 when a 5.9-acre parcel connected it to the larger 134-acre Coney Rock Preserve. Its name also preserves a family story passed down by former owner Leonora Mullane, who said her parents were married at the spot, leading it to be known as Proposal Rocks.
