This cabin was originally built about 1820 two miles from this site on the same property by the first settlers in the Mohican country. Tom Severns, a lineal descendant, donated it to Ken and Ann Wobbecke, who moved it in 1982. Its preservation was undertaken so that people may have a better appreciation of their heritage.
