Traveling circuses were here today and gone tomorrow, making one-day stops that included two performances. Circus management sent an advance crew two weeks ahead of time to let everyone know the show was coming. Posters measuring 28" x 42" hung in store windows by the hundreds, while larger posters hung on buildings and barns. Big circuses came in on the railroad and thought nothing of posting 5,000 to 8,000 posters.
