Mount Horrid stands on the boundary between Addison and Windsor counties in Vermont and rises to 3,205 feet, making it the state's 83rd highest summit. It is especially known for the Great Cliffs, a prominent feature that serves as a nesting site for peregrine falcons. A moderately difficult hiking trail leads to the cliffs, which have become one of the mountain's best-known attractions.
