Bradley Memorial Park was presented to the town of Fryeburg in 1920 as a living memorial to all soldiers, sailors, and marines of Fryeburg who served their country in times of peril, and it also commemorates the original location of Fryeburg Academy, where Daniel Webster served as preceptor in 1802.
