Skyline Arch is a large natural arch in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah, named for its position on the horizon and visible from many parts of the park. It stands out as one of the park’s more conspicuous landmarks and is notable for a major change in 1940, when a large boulder fell from the arch and enlarged its opening by roughly half. The fallen rocks remain below the span, so the collapse is visible both in the arch itself and on the ground beneath it. A short, mostly level trail of about 0.4 mile reaches the arch, though steps at the start prevent wheelchair access.
