Five Mayflower passengers died at sea and while the ship lay in Cape Cod Harbour: William Butten on Nov 16th, 1620; Edward Thomson on Dec 14th, 1620; Jasper More on Dec 16th, 1620; Dorothy Bradford on Dec 17th, 1620; and James Chilton on Dec 18th, 1620. James Chilton was the only signer of the Mayflower Compact who died at Cape Cod.
