George Everett Whipple, a corporal in the U.S.A., and Gardner Barker Haskell, a sergeant in the U.S. Air Service, were honored in memoriam by the American Legion Auxiliary Bourne Post No. 230 on May 30, 1929, as fallen heroes of the World War.
