Beaver Creek Nature Area is a protected landscape in eastern South Dakota, east of Sioux Falls in Minnehaha County, along Beaver Creek, a tributary of Split Rock Creek. Its creekside setting supports outdoor recreation throughout the year, including birdwatching, fishing, hiking, and snowmobiling. The area is especially valued for its wildlife, with bald eagles, white-tailed deer, coyotes, beavers, and many kinds of songbirds and waterfowl found there.
