Godfroy Reserve

By treaty at St. Mary's, Ohio, on 6 October 1818, the U.S. reserved 3,840 acres on the Salamonie River at La Petite Prairie in Harrison Township, Blackford County, to Chief Francois Godfroy of the Miami Nation of Indians. The reserve lands were sold in 1827 and 1836.
