Mosby Creek Bridge, also called Layng Bridge, is a historic covered bridge near Cottage Grove, Oregon, carrying a road across Mosby Creek. Built in 1920 by Walter and Miller Sorensen for $4,125, the Howe truss span is the oldest covered bridge in Lane County. Named for pioneer David Mosby, who settled nearby on a 1,600-acre claim, it features semi-circular portal arches, ribbon openings, board-and-batten siding, and modified Howe truss details. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, it was extensively restored in 1990 and repaired again in 2002. It remains open to traffic and is the area's only bridge still serving that role.
