Mount Hale is a peak in New Hampshire’s White Mountains and part of the Twin Range, named for Reverend Edward Everett Hale. Its eastern and western slopes drain into separate streams, with water flowing through the Little River and Zealand River to the Ammonoosuc, then the Connecticut River, and ultimately Long Island Sound. A major hiking trail crosses the summit and continues to Zealand Falls Hut, about 2.8 miles away, making the mountain a well-known destination within the White Mountain National Forest.
