North Twin Mountain is a peak in New Hampshire’s White Mountains that forms the northern end of the Twin Range above the village of Twin Mountain. South Twin Mountain stands about a mile farther south on the same ridge. The mountain’s slopes divide water into different drainage systems: its north and east sides feed the Little River, then the Ammonoosuc and Connecticut rivers, ultimately reaching Long Island Sound, while its west side drains into the North Branch of the Gale River. North Twin is commonly climbed by the North Twin Trail, which rises from Twin Mountain through the Little River valley and continues along the ridge toward South Twin.
