Nickel Plate Road Berkshire Locomotive No. 755 was built in 1944 and was donated by the New York, Chicago, and St. Louis Railroad Company to the City of Conneaut, Ohio as a monument to the memory of the men in that community who contributed so much to a great period of development in the country, the era of steam railroading.
