Sherman Booth House is a Prairie Style residence in Glencoe, Illinois, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1916 as the home of Elizabeth K. Booth and Sherman M. Booth II. The largest of Wright’s six Prairie houses in his Ravine Bluffs Development, it emerged after a more elaborate 1911 plan proved too expensive and was redesigned into a more economical scheme that incorporated two existing structures. The finished house is notable for its strong square motif, three-story height, rooftop deck, and Wright-designed interior furnishings. It stands as a distinctive part of the important Ravine Bluffs cluster of Wright residences in the Chicago area.
