Deer Park Hotel
History
The Deer Park Hotel was built by the B&O Railroad, opened on July 4, 1873, and operated until 1929 before being razed in 1942. It was one of the most exclusive mountain resorts in the East, and many nationally prominent people, including four United States Presidents, were guests there.
